Bamboo Light Fixture
A statement piece for any room, we love how this light fixture immediately brings warmth and relaxed, natural vibes to a space. This fixture in particular is quite large and becomes a main focal point when entering the Sea Loft – and that’s exactly how we like it. The best part about it? It illuminates our entire space with just one light bulb – score one for the beach house!

Side Table
This side table is a fantastic addition to any space! It’s small so fits in nicely pretty much anywhere. We use this little number as a bedside table, but it can also be used in a living room, bathroom, entry, or another room in your beach house. The crisp white keeps it bright and the baskets add a touch of natural perfect for a beach house. Bonus? The baskets keep your things neatly hidden away.

Sea Shells & Driftwood
Kind of a “duh”, we know, but, there’s really nothing that screams “welcome to the beach” quite like the things you find on a beach walk. Seashells and driftwood come in all shapes, sizes and colors so you can really have fun playing with them in a space. We’ve utilized a larger shell as a statement on the bedside table, a clear vase filled of small shells, or even a medium shell or piece of driftwood as an accent to a grouping on a table. We also love these large clam shell bowls for immediate Coastal cool.

Directors Chair
We LOVE these chairs!! Not only do they immediately beachify any room they slide into, they are comfortable and versatile. They fold up conveniently so they can be tucked away when not in use, easy to transport from room to room, to the beach, park, etc. And they’re super cute again bringing in the natural bamboo mixed with white canvas fabric.

Beach house Bar Cart
Bar carts are all the rage – and we can see why! They’re fun, funky and provide a serious styling moment whether you use them in the kitchen, entertainment space, or even as a side table in the living room. We love a good rattan bar cart, the rattan gives you the immediate boho beach vibes for your tiki bar! And when styling a beach house… you need a tiki bar!
- We love this rattan bar cart for all your bartending needs
- This tray-style bar set up is also pretty cool
Baskets
Baskets are gold in a beach space! Not only are they super attractive to look at, they hide your things, help with organization AND aesthetically speaking, they bring in a natural material with a casual flair perfect for the beach home aesthetic. So grab a couple baskets, throw your shoes in one, blankets in another and watch your space transform!
- You probably have many baskets hanging around your house, but if you want to create a uniform look, try these baskets for organization and style!
Turkish Towels
The lightweight fabric of a Turkish towel is perfect for the easy, breezy coastal feel. Towels are obviously super practical for a beach house, but also they come in so many gorgeous colors and patterns (we’re partial to a stripe if you couldn’t tell!) Turkish towels are such a fun way to add some character and style to a space by simply throwing one on the couch or bed as an accent blanket, or hanging a few on some hooks in your space to it’s easy to grab and go on your way to the beach.
- Oooo so many options, try these ones with tons of color choices!
Sun Hats
Hello practical design tip! Who doesn’t love a good sun hat at the beach? A nice hat hung on a wall hook or laying on the bed or couch can instantly remind you you’re at the beach. It’s also super practical to grab and go on your way out the door to catch some rays!
- We like this one from Roxy, not only will it look good in your home, it’ll look great on the beach!
Wood Boards
Here we go again with those natural materials. We love a good timber tone. You can utilize wooden boards in the kitchen propped against the wall to add some warmth to the space (and stay practical), you can even incorporate a good wood board as a type of tray to “group” smaller items together to create a design moment on surfaces throughout the house!
- We’re loving this beauty for style and food presentation
Beach House Coffee Table Books
Coffee table books have come a long way, we love a good stack of books on a coffee table, side table, or even stack some cookbooks in the kitchen! A good chunky book that gives a nod to something coastal is a fantastic way to bring the beach vibes in. They also provide something to flip through and keep you occupied, and hey – you can even learn a little something!
- Hello Surf Shack!
- We also love this fun Tiki cocktail book – it’s perfect to style your bar
We’re suckers for all things casual, natural and relaxed when it comes to beach house design. The beach is meant to be a place to unwind and let your worries float away while you stick your toes in the sand. The best way to incorporate coastal design into your interior spaces is to keep that mindset and choose pieces that keep you stress-free and grounded.
