Bring on the Pumpkins
Let’s face it, it’s Fall, and we’re all about the pumpkin selection at the local grocery stores (have you seen the fantasy pumpkins at Trader Joes?!)!! In particular for Fall decor, we are all about the lighter colored pumpkins in various shapes and sizes, think white, lighter tan.. that color family. This allows the pumpkins to blend nicely with the lighter palette of a beach home while still being festive. You can sprinkle them throughout the house on the ground, on shelves, and, of course, on the front porch, add in a starfish here and there to keep the beachy vibes flowing and you’re Fall ready!
tan, natural elements
In Coastal decor, we love marrying nature with our interior spaces. We love bringing in plants and grasses and rattan to soften the space. In the Fall, we’re focusing on bringing in tan natural elements. We love Pampas grass and Bunny grass or a dry floral arrangement placed in a vase for easy care-free decor. In addition, we’re bringing in some more rattan in the form of a rattan wrapped vase (we love this one!).
Cozy Fabrics and Textiles
Nothing says Coastal Fall decor like bringing in some cozy fabrics and textiles. First of all, we LOVE a faux sheepskin rug, the rich, creamy texture it brings into a room immediately relaxes your senses. Not to mention, they feel amazing and warm on your feet on a crisp Fall morning. Another fave? Bring in a neutral patterned blanket (or a chunky knit blanket) to add both texture and comfort. You know how much we love useful decor – those blankets can keep you warm!
